Papers Submission:

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts, which must be written in English and must be received by July 31, 2016.

Extended abstracts should not exceed two A4 pages with 25mm margins on all sides, in one column format, and with 10-point fonts or larger. The extended abstract should be prepared in PDF format, and it should be submitted via the SSS Web site.

Authors will be advised regarding acceptance of the extended abstract by September 10, 2016. The authors of accepted papers are requested to submit the manuscripts for the proceedings following the instructions available on the SSS Web site. The manuscripts should be prepared in PDF format and submitted electronically on the Web by October 25, 2016. The maximum length of each manuscript including both text and illustrations will be ten pages (about 7500 words). In order to assure high-quality of the proceedings, all manuscripts will be reviewed and only accepted ones will be included in it. (For the policy of the copyright, please see http://sci-sss.org/sss2016/cfp.php)

Policy on Copyright of SSS Proceedings:

Beginning with the SSS'14, SSS Proceedings are now available at the on-line electronic journal cite J-Stage (Japan Science and Technology Information Aggregator, Electronic). With the author's agreement, the papers in Proceedings will be registerd to DOI (Digital Object Identifier) system and opened to the public on the web.
According to this system, the papers in Proceedings will be officially published works with the copyright, and we need Copyright Transfer from all of the authors who submit their papers. Also, each paper should be the original work of the author(s) and not yet published in any media with the copyright.

Award:

The young researchers who recognized excellent presentation at this symposium will be presented to SSS Young Author Prize or ISCIE award. For SSS Young Author Prize, the presenter must be less than 35 years of age at the time of symposium. For ISCIE award, the presenter must be a member of ISCIE and must be less than 30 years of age if the affiliation of the presenter is an academic or 35 years of age if the affiliation of the presenter is not an academic, at the time of symposium.
